It's once again time to link up with Jaime for What I'm Loving Wednesday!!

This week is a special edition for me as I'm celebrating 4 wonderful years of marriage to my best friend!! WARNING- picture overload ahead!!

I could not have asked for a better husband and friend. God certainly knew what He was doing when He brought us together!! These first 4 years of marriage have flown by and we have come so far. I can't wait to see what God has in store for us for the next 4 years and many more years after that!

(this is from our 1st vacation together - San Antonio - and we will be taking a trip back there next weekend to celebrate our anniversary!!)

(this is from Valentine's Day in 2010 - we went out for a nice steak dinner and a movie (if my memory serves me correctly we saw Valentine's Day- I DO remember it was really, really cold that year!!)

(this is from our Disney World vacation a couple years ago - so much fun!!! Hubby had been several times, but it was my first and I'm so ready to go back!!)

(and here we are on our wedding day)

(Hubby and me with the wedding party - hubby's best friend from high school, my best friend from high school, my sister, hubby's brother, my sister's oldest daughter (youngest wasn't born yet), hubby's brother's son and daughter (their youngest daughter was too young to be in the wedding)

(cutting the cake - so yummy)

(getting ready to take off on our flight to Puerto Rico - don't we look exhausted!!! LOL - we WERE!!!)

(on our cruise ship before dinner one night - Royal Caribbean, sorry I can't remember the name of our ship)

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Here we are again halfway through another week! You know what that means. It's time for What I'm Loving Wednesday with Jamie!!!

Here's what I'm loving on this wonderful Wednesday . . .

1.I mentioned I was excited for this to be happening last week and now here are the results. Hubby and I went Sunday to Williams-Sonoma and got to meet Bobby Flay and get his autograph!! He was such a nice guy and much more personable than I was expecting (and a lot smaller in person too, haha). Hubby was worried that he wasn't going to sign the custom mini helmet he had created but Bobby (yeah, we're on first name basis like that, LOL) really liked it and even commented "nice job!" Way to go Bobby - made my hubby very happy!! I'm excited to try some recipes from his new cookbook. Williams-Sonoma certainly knows how to do things - they were so organized and even made a potato salad recipe from Bobby's book and was passing out samples for all of us to try! Very classy!
(sorry, I forgot to get a picture of the autographed cookbook, but you can see it sitting under the helmet)

2. Sonic drinks!! Need I say more? I absolutely LOVE their ice!! Now that the weather is warming up I see a lot more of these in my future. My favorite drink choices are Dr. Pepper, Cherry Limeade, and I just recently tried their sweet tea - being a southern girl I'm picky about my sweet tea and they do not disappoint!!

3. Speaking of Sonic ice I just recently discovered that I no longer need to visit Sonic in order to get my ice fix! (don't worry Sonic, I'm not going anywhere though) Thanks to Amanda I discovered I could have Sonic-style ice any time I want it!! Go check out her post to see what I'm talking about (just click on her name in the previous sentence and it will take you right to the post I'm talking about). How cool is that??!!! Only thing I'm NOT loving is the price tag. A girl can dream though right . . . . Maybe someday!
(I hope she doesn't mind I borrowed this picture from her blog)

4. Target summer wardrobe - I just LOVE some of my recent Target finds. I've been wanting a maxi dress for the past 2 summers and have finally found one that fits my short stature (I'm 5'3"). I also scored another cute summery dress (it's not exactly like the one pictured below - the one I got is black background with colorful Southwest looking design all over it) and a nice light white top (which I've been searching for one for a while - it's very shear so I have to wear a cami under it, but I absolutely LOVE it).

Merona® Women's Sleeveless Maxi Dress -Floral Print Mossimo® Women's High Low Trapeze Dress -Black/White Print
 Merona® Women's 3/4 Sleeve Tunic -White

5. Hunter Hayes song "Wanted" - I may be a little late to the fan club, but the radio station I've been listening to has been playing this song a lot and I LOVE it!! Unfortunately I'm blogging from work so it won't let me upload a clip for you to listen to, but when you get a chance look it up and have a listen!

6. Last, but certainly not least - I'm loving another God-given day to enjoy my life with this man!! We have recently started taking walks in the evenings when we get home and it's the perfect way to unwind from our days at work and enjoy some time together while fitting in a little exercise!

Ok, now it's your turn. Head on over to Jamie's and tell us what you're loving this week! As always, thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

It's that time again! I'm loving that we're halfway through another week so in honor of this fact, I'm once again linking up with Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday . . .

Here's what I'm loving this week . . .

1. International Delight Iced Coffee Mocha flavor- I'm especially loving it now that it comes in individual sized bottles. It helps get my morning off on the right foot!

2. Thanks to Amanda I'm loving these new wax melts from Febreeze. White Peach is the only scent I've tried so far but will definitely be trying more soon. The fragrance is not too overwhelming which makes it perfect since I'm an allergy sufferer.

3. Kiss Press-On Nails - now ultimately I would love to be able to get regular manicures but since that's not an option these are a great alternative. They are easy to apply and typically last me anywhere from 5-7 days before they start to pop off.

4. Iron Man 3 - ok, confession time - maybe it's actually because of Robert Downey, Jr. himself but Iron Man is my favorite super hero. Before I got married I never really got into the super hero movies, but now that hubby has introduced me to the Avengers I'm absolutely loving Iron Man and am super stoked for the new movie coming out May 3!!

5. Bobby Flay's new cookbook Barbecue Addiction came out yesterday. I'm super excited because hubby and I will be going this Sunday to meet him get an autographed copy!!

6. Bluebonnets - being a native Texan I absolutely LOVE this time of year when the flowers start blooming everywhere - especially the bluebonnets! This year hubby and I made a little road trip to Ennis for the Bluebonnet Festival and it was well worth it. I have always wanted to go somewhere to see just field after field of bluebonnets since we only get a little smattering of patches here and there. This is just a sampling of many beautiful pictures we took.
(do me a favor and ignore my hair - it was CRAZY windy)

7. As always I'm loving another God-given day to enjoy this life with my husband!!

If you haven't done so you should head on over and see what everyone else is loving on this Wonderful Wednesday and join in the fun.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Well, I have given blogging a try in the past and as you can see it hasn't gone very well. I decided I was ready to give it another go and figured it would be best to start out trying to link up with What I'm Loving Wednesdays each week and see how it goes from there. If you haven't checked out this weekly link-up; you should!

So without further ado, here's what I'm loving on this wonderful Wednesday . . .

1. My dinner Monday night - Daily's frozen margarita and homemade taco/lime chicken tacos. This was the perfect combo!

(recipe found here)

2. I signed up for Ipsy's monthly Glam Bag and my first one should be arriving soon! I'm super excited because I love trying out new products and what better way to do that than by breaking the bank on full size items I may or may not like. I only pay $10 a month and receive samples of items to try.

3. Drew Barrymore's new line of makeup. This is the only item I've tried so far, but I'm loving it and can't wait to try some of her makeup. Very affordable for those on a budget, like myself! Isn't this the perfect color to kick off spring!

(this is called Eye of the Tiger Lily)

 4. Continuing on in the makeup department I'm loving E.L.F.'s new matte lipstick pencil in Rich Red. I'm usually not a red lipstick kind of girl, but this is actually perfect. It gives just enough color without being too bright.

5. I don't normally watch Dr. Oz, just because I'm not home when it's on, but I came across this regimen he recommends and have implemented it into my skincare routine over the last couple weeks. Witch hazel and St. Ives collagen/elastin moisturizer. I've always had pretty good skin but have noticed lately it hasn't been looking it's best. Ever since I started using this system I've noticed a difference - my skin is looking brighter and healthier again.

6. Call me a nerd/geek but I love researching the best products on the market. I just signed up for a subscription to Consumer Reports and am beside myself waiting for my first issue. My dad had a subscription years ago and we would "fight" over who got to look at it first.

7. Sharpie's 80's Glam fine point pens! Just got these for work and am loving all the fun colors. Helps me keep things organized!

8. Last, but certainly not least I'm loving that God has given me another day to enjoy my life with my wonderful husband!!

Fall Flair

Fall is my FAVORITE time of year!! I love the cooler weather where it's perfect outside - not too hot; not too cold! I absolutely LOVE the colors of the leaves turning to yellow, orange and red!!! I love snuggling up under a warm blanket with a good book and warm cup of coffee or hot chocolate. And I love how it means the holidays are right around the corner which means time to decorate, bake and spend more time with family and friends. Everyone just seems to be happier and more cheerful and friendly this time of year. It's definitely my favorite season!!

This year I'm especially excited because I found the CUTEST idea to add a little more of a fall touch to our home. It's super easy to make so I just had to give it a try!!! And not only did I make one; I made 3 so that I could give one to my mom and sister!!!

Aren't they adorable!!! I also LOVE pumpkins so as soon as I saw these I knew I had to have one!!! I can't take credit for them though. I found them over at House of Hepworths blog. Check it out here with a full tutorial of how you can make your own!! Isn't she brilliant!! It's one of those crafts that makes you say, "well, now why didn't I think of that??!!" Thank you Allison for giving me such a cute decoration to add to my collection!!

Here's a couple pictures of how I decorated a shelf that's hanging above our closet in our bedroom. I try to decorate this shelf for every holiday, so stay tuned for how it transforms for Christmas! (and yes, the date on the pictures is from last year but it looks exactly the same this year) ;-)

This isn't everything I have out for fall, but it will have to do as I don't have pictures of everything else and am too lazy to get up and take any right now.

I hope you are all enjoying the cooler weather and all the festivities that come with the season!!!
